Job Summary
AirTight is looking for a full-time/part-time Commercial Dock & Door Service Technician Apprentice to join our team and meet the demands of our growing business.
Preferred are candidates that have previous working experience with repair, servicing, inspection, diagnosing, maintaining and maintenance of warehouse, industrial and/or commercial doors; loading docks; levelers; and other related warehouse equipment.
Essential Functions
Troubleshoot/repair all types of dock/door equipment
Follow company policies and procedures
Properly fill out paperwork, gather necessary information, and communicate with the customer, vendor, and/or coworker.
Must be professional in word and conduct
Availability to work overtime and rotate on call shifts
Qualifications
No experience necessary.
Mechanically inclined.
Must have a clean driving record
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Positive attitude and work ethic
Willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions
Physical Demands
Will ascend and descend a ladder and other lift equipment to install, troubleshoot and repair customer equipment.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time (driving)
Ability to adapt to different temperatures and environments
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Ability to work in confined spaces
